Using a range of mediums and found objects, Pedro constructs narratives that blend personal and collective memory, merging lessons and stories from friends and family with his own life experiences. The work is a playful, surreal synthesis, where reality mingles with imaginative absurdity to reframe the familiar.

Each work serves as a scene unfolding on an intimate stage—an everyday setting where something unscripted might happen, even in moments of quiet. The figures and objects are familiar fragments from his life, reimagined in vivid detail. Working from memory, he distorts dimensionality and color, capturing moments that are like close-up glimpses of larger narratives.

Each scene becomes a symbolic fragment, or synecdoche, of an experience—a snapshot that invites the viewer to wonder at the world reframed through his distinct perspective.
